A dominant presence in midfield. Led the early charge and provided a killer pass for Mane before thumping home a screamer for the 3rd goal. Booked during the closing stages as he lost his composure.
HENDERSON- 6.5/10
Enjoyed the midfield battle with Wilshere and appeared to be an easy winner before a period where they were over-run saw the match slipping through their grasp. Provided a lovely assist for Origi’s goal, though.
WIJNALDUM- 7.5/10
Shone in an advanced midfield role and easily demonstrated what his position should be. Lively and effective in possession.
MANE- 6/10
Has been inconsistent in recent weeks and has primarily performed in front of the Kop better. But he was on hand to score one and set up another. Got off injured, though.
ORIGI– 6.5/10
Missed a gilt-edged opportunity early on but made up with a well-taken goal. Missed a chance to be the hero late on.
FIRMINO- 6/10
Looked lost at times and his defensive contribution was extremely poor. Lucky not to concede a penalty.
