Opened the scoring with an excellent header which proved to be the winner as well. Good work-rate from the former Newcastle United man.

Not his best display. Unusually quiet at Anfield.
LALLANA- 7.5/10
Played further up front as Origi was benched. A peach of a cross saw Wijnaldum at the end of it. Held the ball well and troubled Zabaleta throughout.
FIRMINO- 6/10
A quiet display from the Brazilian. Had a chance to make the score 2-0 if he had held on to a stunning pass from Milner.
