Idrissa Gueye: 6.5/10

Gueye wasn’t able to smother Hull’s midfield on the counter and was often caught out of position but his performance in the second half was significantly better.

Gareth Barry: 7.5/10

Barry linked up quite well with the midfielders around him and his passing as well as his passing range was decent.

Enner Valencia: 7/10

Valencia ran his lungs out, trying his luck even at half chances. Despite his hard work, he got no tangible output.

Ross Barkley: 8/10

After an average first half performance, Ross Barkley was absolutely brilliant in the second half and was rewarded with a goal for his performance.

Kevin Mirallas: 7.5/10

Mirallas worked really hard and got into some decent shooting positions after earning himself a few yards with his dribbling but his efforts yielded no results with Hull City defending in numbers.

Romelu Lukaku: 6/10

Lukaku was quite poor, often getting isolated up front and couldn’t really handle the pressure of Hull defenders in numbers around him whenever he was in possession of the ball.

Substitutes

Tom Davies: 7.5/10

The youngster was thoroughly involved in the play after coming on and showed a lot of confidence.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin: 7/10

Calvert-Lewin was unable to score from close range from Seamus Coleman’s pinpoint delivery which could have probably won Everton the game.

Ramiro Funes Mori: N/A

Funes Mori played too little to warrant a rating.
