Controlled the game well. Should have been booked in the first half but escaped. However, got yellow-carded in the second half, anyway. Lost possession of the ball far too easily on occasions.
Nemanja Matic: 7/10
Replaced in-form Fabregas but could not replace the Spaniard’s creativity. A rock-solid presence in the middle of the park and passed well.
Marcus Alonso: 8/10
A brilliant game from the Spanish wing-back. Was solid attacking wise and defender well against in-form Zaha. Was unlucky to not get on the scoresheet.
Willian: 6/10
Did not get too many chances to impress before being replaced by Fabregas.
Diego Costa: 8/10
Always put the Palace defence under pressure and eventually scored the goal. Picked up a booking.
Eden Hazard: 7/10
Ran into the Palace defence time and time again. His flair and creativity caused havoc on numerous occasions.
