Alexis Sanchez has revealed that he would have loved to play alongside Gunners legend Thierry Henry.
Despite being shifted to a new role, Sanchez is having a tremendous season as he has already bagged 14 goals for the Gunners including a delightful hat-trick against West Ham United. Olivier Giroud is currently playing second fiddle to the Chilean.
Thierry Henry is one of the most decorated players ever to have played at the Emirates. He is the all-time top scorer for them with a record 228 goals and spent eight seasons with the North Londoners before making a switch to Spain to play for Barcelona.
Sanchez said that he would have loved delighted to partner Henry in the Arsenal attack, “I would like to have played with Henry He could score, play one-twos with you, pass the ball and hold it up too.
“He had a huge repertoire and a great vision. I like playing with players with such a panoramic vision of the game.
“I think that we would do great together. We would be constantly moving, going up and down, coming and going.”
“He is more of a goalscorer than I am. I think I would assist him for every goal he would score. I am more into passing and he is a great goalscorer.”
