AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca has been linked with Arsenal. The Gunners won their last match 5-1 against West Ham United with makeshift striker Alexis Sanchez scoring a brilliant hat-trick.
Sanchez has been shifted more up front by Arsene Wenger and the step is reaping dividends as the Chilean has already scored 11 goals in the Premier League. But there has been speculations regarding his future and Arsenal are keeping their alternate options open by keeping a tab on Bacca.
Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck are injured while Lucas Perez has just returned from injury. Arsenal are currently having a dream run in the Premier League as they are currently unbeaten in the last 13 matches after the opening match against Liverpool.
Bacca has bagged 26 goals for AC Milan since his move from Sevilla. He hasn’t played the last two matches for a muscle fatigue. Arsenal have been searching a typical goal poacher who could score an average of 20 goals in a season and they might have identified their solution.
However Milan coach Vincenzo Montella has refuted the claims, “Can Bacca leave in January? I’m sorry to disappoint you, but it’s too early to talk about it,
“We won’t talk about the market. For now, Bacca is a Milan player.”
