Arsenal have reportedly agreed to terms with Olivier Giroud and Francis Coquelin. Talks are also going on with Laurent Koscielny for a contract extension.
Arsenal have been trying to tie up their best players to the club for a longer period. Despite starting just twice this season the French forward came off the bench lately to score in a couple of matches. He scored a brace against Sunderland and also scored the vital equaliser against Manchester United.
Giroud will sign a new deal till 2019 while Coquelin will pledge his future to the club till 2021. Coquelin has been rewarded for his consistent performance.s He has been a regular in the Arsenal starting lineup and is often a ball winner in midfield.
Giroud has been playing as a second choice this season as Alexis Sanchez is currently playing the role of centre forward. Arsenal are also trying to extend contracts of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez who have been stalling over a pay rise.
