West Ham United drew their home game against Mark Hughes’ Stoke City to grab a point. Despite taking an early lead, the Hammers could not hold on to it to grab the much needed win, dropping points at home yet again as they were disappointing for large parts of the game.
Let’s take a look at how the players of the home side fared in the game out of a scale of 10
Adrian (4/10)
Cost his team three points with an absolute howler as he gifted a goal to his opposition to draw level in the 75th minute
Kouyate (6/10)
Very conservative in his approach. The fullback rarely ventured forward but did his defensive duties well and was sure in possession.
Collins (7.5/10)
Another very assured display from the veteran. Used the ball exceptionally well with his good passing from the back and was very strong centrally, defending his penalty box.
Ogbonna (7/10)
His long balls did not always work out but was absolutely dominant in the air with expertly marshaling his penalty area with 9 clearances.
Antonio (7/10)
Was good with his runs and despite being poor in the air, he managed to win the one inside the Stoke penalty box which deflected off Glenn Whelan for the opening goal. A few good opportunities but missed his chances poorly.
