Harry Kane has reportedly put his contract extension on hold as of now at Tottenham. Spurs are very keen to offer the England international a new deal but he wants a hefty pay rise. The forward recently had been sent back from England camp to recover completely from a knee injury that he had sustained against Sunderland that kept him out for a lengthy spell.
Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy is very strict when it comes to giving wages and Spurs recently also had a standoff with Keeper Hugo Lloris who rejected the contract offered by the club to him.
Kane currently pockets a £60,000-a-week and has a contract with the North London club till 2020. Spurs recently renewed the contract with a host of players including Danny Rose, Eric Dier and Dele Alli.
Manchester United, Chelsea, and Manchester City are reportedly monitoring the current situation and if the club fails to fulfill his demand a transfer could be on the cards for the 23-year-old.
