Leeds United have not really struggled for goals this season, mostly thanks to Chris Wood, who has already scored 11 goals in all competitions.
However, Leeds’ summer signing Marcus Antonsson has mostly failed to make a name for himself in Leeds’ jersey. A dip in Wood’s form or any injury to him could hurt the Whites’ promotion hopes and Monk should, therefore, move for a new striker in January.
Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths is finding it hard to get a place in the starting XI with new signing Moussa Dembele scoring for fun. The Scot himself scored 40 goals in all competitions last season and is well capable add more firepower to Leeds’ attack.
