In a huge blow for Moyes, McNair has been ruled out for the season and while one feels bad for the player, Moyes might have already got a like for like replacement for him.
Jan Kirchhoff is back with the team and Moyes might put him into the fray against the Reds. Denayer is expected to recover and joining the duo in midfield will be N’dong.
ATTACK
Victor Anichebe will surely trouble the Liverpool backline with his physicality and will be joined by Watmore behind Sunderland’s best player Jermain Defoe.
If there’s one area where Liverpool are weak, then it’s their defence and in Defoe and Anichebe, the Black Cats have a good combination of brute strength and pace.
