Midfield
Oriol Romeu has been almost ever-present for the Saints this season at the base of midfield. The Spaniard was rested against Sparta Prague and the Saints failed to win the game. The combative midfielder should make a return to the starting XI against Everton.
Steven Davis was also rested against Sparta Prague and should get his place back in the starting XI. We expect James Ward-Prowse to start in midfield ahead of Jordy Clasie with Højbjerg missing the game with an injury.
Attack
Dusan Tadic is likely to miss with a minor injury and Sofiane Boufal is likely to start on the left flank.
Nathan Redmond will keep his place on the right. Charlie Austin did not start in the midweek and should return to the starting XI against Everton.
