West Ham United’s league run might get gloomier as they take their pitiable form to Old Trafford next weekend to face Manchester United. Slaven Bilic saw his team losing at the very last minute to Tottenham last week despite taking the lead twice in the game.
West Ham United are yet to drop to the relegation zone of late as they are in the 17th position collecting just 12 points from 12 games, thanks to a more terrible Hull City form. But, another loss this week and they will most likely be one of the last three teams in the league table.
But, considering United’s form this season, Bilic might well repeat a Burnley-like performance at Old Trafford and there is no doubt that West Ham are a much better side with players who could single-handedly turn the game.
Here is the predicted 3-4-2-1 West Ham United lineup.
Defence
Bilic handed the gloves to Randolph in the last match and the Ireland international didn’t have a game to remember. He has now conceded 6 goals in 6 appearances for West Ham in all competitions. We expect the gaffer to stick with Adrian next time.
Although it is time Bilic changes his tactics and experiments newer setups to see how they pan out, Manchester United is definitely not the opponent to try that. So we expect the Hammers to start with the same three at the back formation.
They have a huge blow at the back as their skipper got red carded immediately after returning from injury. Winston Reid was booked after his elbow appeared to come in contact with Kane’s head when contesting the ball deep into stoppage time. We expect Bilic to start with James Collins against United along with Angelo Ogbonna and Cheikhou Kouyaté.
