JOSE MOURINHO TARNISHING MANCHESTER UNITED LEGACY?
Sir Alex Ferguson had his fair share of run-ins with the authorities and never backed out of a confrontation but there was always an aura around him which ensured he came out of the situation with his grace and reputation intact.
Jose Mourinho came in with lots of expectation and one of them was the quick-fix effect he seemingly has on teams who are struggling, And his spending and initial strategy pointed towards the same.
But things have almost fallen apart for them since. Star players underperforming, public fall-outs with players, negative results and worse statistics than David Moyes and Van Gaal.
The club needs a calm head at the top and preferably it should be the manager’s but he has been anything but that. Already red carded twice inside 13 games, he faces a longer ban.
All in all, Jose Mourinho is not in control of himself or good enough at the moment to represent what the club stands for.
CHAMPIONS TO RELEGATION?
Leicester City enthralled one and all with their brand of football last season and went on to shock the footballing world as they won the Premier League title. But aside from the Champions League run, they have hardly moved out of first gear and just as last season they defied odds in their record-breaking run, their current situation can get worse before they know it.
Two points away from the drop zone and their two best players looking mere shadows of themselves with N’Golo Kante gone. Things are looking bleak for the Foxes. Their next match against Sunderland is a must win one and they need a run to get away from their current spot.
