Luke Shaw is keen to fight for a place in the starting lineup despite being continuously linked up with a move to Crystal Palace.
The 21-year old is expected to make the cut in the EFL Cup quarterfinal when Manchester United will entertain West Ham United. Earlier, Jose Mourinho had publicly criticised the left back as he declared himself unfit just before the Swansea Match. He was also blamed for Watford’s second goal in the 3-1 defeat in the Premier League.
Shaw was even not in the match day squad when United were held to a 1-1 draw by the Hammers last week.
The England international arrived from Southampton in 2014 and was touted as one of the best promising left backs of England. He did start his United career brightly but subsequent injuries led him to a side figure at United.
However, Palace’s intention of hacking the player could be hampered as Shaw is determined to prove himself and has no intention to leave the club.
