Jordan Henderson: 8.5/10
Was an absolute beast in midfield. Won back possession and immediately released his teammates. Ventured forward on occasions but acted as the backbone of the team.
Emre Can: 8.5/10
Was adventurous to burst forward. Got himself a goal with a header converting an Adam Lallana cross. Was confident with the ball and passed well.
Adam Lallana: 9/10
Did not make the scoresheet but was the brain of each and every Liverpool movement. Registered two assists to his name.
Sadio Mane: 8.5/10
Opened the scoring with a stupendous header and was at the right place at the right time to score his second. Was applauded by the home fans as well as club legend Kenny Dalglish when he made way for Wijnaldum, which truly means a lot.
Roberto Firmino: 9/10
Two assists and one goal- the Brazilian was involved in each and every positive thing about Liverpool. Showed how selfless he could be when he set up Mane for Liverpool’s fifth.
Philippe Coutinho: 9.5/10
The darling of the Liverpool fans pulled off another magical display. The Brazilian’s passing, movement, decision making- everything was top notch. Got himself an assist and a brilliant goal but could have scored more.
