Sevilla boss Jorge Sampaoli has ruled out any move for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
Fabregas has struggled so far since Antonio Conte adapted the 4-3-3 formation. N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic have the responsibility of marshalling the midfield and thus Fabregas has been linked with a number of clubs with the likes of AC Milan and Juventus. Milan are very keen to take him but the Spanish midfielder played down a move as the Italian club are currently not participating in Europe.
Samir Nasri moved to Sevilla from Manchester City in this summer and has reinvented himself under the new manager. But the Argentine manager has made it clear that currently he has no plans for Fabregas, “He’s very intelligent and it’s clear he’s a player any coach would love to have. But it hasn’t crossed my mind that he could be here.
“I know he’s an important player, but I’m not thinking about him.
“We’re linked with players day in, day out. We value the squad that we have here highly and I’m not thinking about any more than that.”
