Barcelona are trying to coax a move for Chelsea’s Victor Moses. The 25-year old has been a revelation this season for the Blues. Antonio Conte has turned the winger into a wing-back since his transformation to the 3-4-3 formation.
Moses scored the winner against Tottenham Hotspur in the London derby to extend Chelsea’s winning streak to seven games. The Nigerian international who is under contract till 2019 has bagged four goals in 14 appearances till now.
Barcelona reportedly sent scouts to watch the player a number of times. They have been searching for a right-back since Dani Alves’s departure to Juventus. Aleix Vidal has struggled to find his form after having signed from Sevilla. Luis Enrique has been deploying midfielder Sergi Roberto on the right side of the defence but is very keen to sign a right back. Moses has the knack of tracking back to help his defence which has been a vital cog in his rejuvenation under Conte.
Chelsea are reportedly considering to offer him a new contract as technical director Michael Emenalo, who also is a Nigerian is, very impressed with the player’s performance this season.
