Cesc Fabregas has reportedly rejected a proposal to move to the wealthy Chinese Super League. The out of favour midfielder was recently in headlines for a rumoured move to West Ham United.
The 29 year old hasn’t really featured in this campaign as Antonio Conte has preferred Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante in the midfield. Fabregas had a significant contribution in Chelsea’s Premier league title triumph in the 2014/15 season.
A number of players from the Premier League are right now plying their trades with various clubs in China, the latest being Graziano Pelle. Former Chelsea midfielder Ramires also joined Chinese club Jiangsu Suning last season.
The World Cup Winner was not included in Spain’s squad that would face England on 15th November. The player was earlier linked with a move to West Ham United as Dimitri Payet expressed his interest in leaving The Hammers. Chelsea would want to offload the player, but he would be wanting to prove his mettle under Conte.
