Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois both have reportedly made up their minds to extend their stay at Chelsea.
Antonio Conte is very keen to hold on to two of their best players after a superb start to the season. Chelsea are currently unbeaten in their last six games and are leading the points table with 28 points.
Diego Costa has been a key figure in Chelsea’s rise this season. The current top scorer of the League, Costa has already netted 10 goals in this season. Recently, Antonio Conte admitted that he rates the striker as one of the best in the world. The 28-year-old registered an astonishing 69 percent shot accuracy in the Premier League.
When it comes to Thibaut Courtois, the keeper has had a decent Premier League season so far as he doesn’t need to make many saves. The backline of the Blues has been in sublime form and since Conte decided to play with a three-man defence as they haven’t conceded a single goal in the last six matches.
Costa currently earns £150,000 per week while Courtois takes home £100,000 a week. Both are expected to get a hefty pay rise in the range of £200,000 and £150,000 respectively.
