Chelsea winger turned wing-back, Victor Moses, has won the Premier League player of the month of November. Moses got a whopping 18,756 votes while Gylfi Sigurdsson and Nordin Amrabat finished second and third position with 7,791 and 5,378 votes respectively.
Moses has played a significant part in Chelsea’s domination of late season. The winger scored the winner in Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur that ended Spurs’ unbeaten run in the League.
The Nigerian international joined the Blues in 2012 from Wigan and since then had been on loan at various clubs. Since Antonio Conte’s switch to 3-4-3, the winger, to be precise the wing-back, has been a key part of Conte’s strategy. Conte had been searching for someone who has the ability to attack and defend with the same flair and intent and he fit the bill perfectly.
An expert panel decided the nominees and then the winner was decided by votes. Moses became the second player to have that trophy after Eden Hazard was adjudged the player of the month in October.
