Chelsea loanee Nathan Ake has dismissed rumours regarding a return to Chelsea. The player is right now plying his trade at Bournemouth on a season-long loan.
The 21-year old played his first full ninety minutes in the last match against Stoke City and has impressed in his first outing. He stood tall to deny Stoke City players from scoring and also scored the solitary goal that later proved to be winner.
His performance must have given a boost to his confidence who has very limited games this season after arriving from Chelsea. Chelsea have been in the search for a defender but Ake has ruled out any possibilities of a return.
“Scoring was a great feeling. I can’t describe it actually. It’s been tough. Every player wants to play every game. But when you get the opportunity you need to step up. I’m really happy. It’s been a long couple of months. I haven’t played but now I got the opportunity. I scored a goal, we won at Stoke and kept a clean sheet so it’s been good!”
“I don’t know where that (Chelsea story) comes from. It came from nothing. I ignore it and focus on what I have to do in training – and focus on Bournemouth.”
