Pogba (8.5/10)– His game has improved since the last few matches. The French international has almost been in every move of the United attack and West Ham United gave him too much space to ply his trade freely but he couldn’t take advantage of it.
His pass was sublime that led to the goal but seemed to generate too much power behind the laced shots, which misbalanced the perfection.
Herrera (8/10)– He has been an improvement in the holding midfield position and he didn’t let people complain Mourinho’s decision to replace Carrick with him.
He intercepted the ball 7 times and provided 101 passes, out of which 29 were successful attacking third passes.
Rashford (7.5/10)– He seems to have lost his sharpness in front of the goal. His runs, up and down the flanks, were a treat to watch at times but none of his passes ended up being a threat.
He has lost the sting as compared to flank partner Lingard.
Mata (7.5/10)– After his impressive performance against Arsenal, a lot was expected from the Spaniard, but he failed to deliver against West Ham United. He could only produce 14 attacking third passes and recovered the ball 5 times. He was subbed off in the second half.
Lingard (8/10)– One of the positive performers in the United team. He was the only player who was oozing with intent every time he went forward. He had 16 attacking third passes and took 3 shots out of which two were on target.
Ibrahimovic (8.5/10)– There were quite a many occasions when the Swede almost scored the winner. He knows his strength is his physique and he used it beautifully at times when playing the role of a playmaker. However, he failed to contribute in any way since the equalising goal.
