Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has put pen to paper on a new deal with Arsenal. The defender will earn £100,000 per week which will make him one of the top-paid players at Arsenal.
Arsenal have been trying to negotiate a deal with the 21-year-old for the last few days. Amidst his rumoured link ups with Barcelona and Manchester City, Arsenal have managed to keep one of their prized assets.
Bellerin joined Arsenal in 2011 from Barcelona after failing to break into the first eleven. The La Masia academy graduate gradually became one of the most composed and effective defenders of Arsenal. Barcelona desperately wanted him after Dani Alves left the club. Although Sergi Roberto has been playing as the makeshift right back, the Catalans had been searching someone who could replace Dani Alves.
Bellerin will pocket a massive £30million over the span of six years. Arsenal are also hopeful that Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will also pledge their future to the club.
