Antonio Conte has worked his magic at Stamford Bridge which is clearly evident from their recent run of results. Chelsea are just one point off the top three right now and look like realistic title challengers. With no European football at the West London club and the way the Italian gaffer is using the players, we can expect the Blues to make a strong bid for the title this campaign.
Chelsea will host Everton on Saturday at Stamford Bridge in the 11th game week of the Premier League. Everton started the season really well under their new manager Ronald Koeman but experienced a bad patch of form prior to last weekend when they beat West Ham United after a brilliant second half. We can expect a cracker of a game when the two sides meet each other on Saturday.
Chelsea have not conceded a single goal in their last four Premier League games after their 3-0 humiliation at the hands of rivals Arsenal. The Blues look solid both in attack and defence in Conte’s 3-4-3 formation and we can expect them to continue playing in a similar shape.
Here is the predicted Chelsea lineup against Everton.
Defence
Thibaut Courtois has been impressive under the bar for the Blues of late and will keep his place between the sticks. Chelsea have found the right formula in defence finally after switching to a back three. The trio Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill have been top-notch in the last four games which has led to the Blues’ impressive defensive record.
Even though John Terry and Kurt Zouma are both back from injuries, Conte is unlikely to make any alterations to his performing back-three.
