Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva is reconsidering his future with the French giant. PSG are very keen to offer the defender a new contract but he has reportedly put contract talks on hold.
The 32-year old’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the season and a return to his former club AC Milan could be an option for the defender who recently had been called up to the national squad after almost a year.
His agent Paulo Tonietto said, “Contract talks with PSG have been put on hold. We are going to evaluate the future alongside the club, but if PSG fail to qualify for Champions League this season, we are not going to sign a new contract, that’s for sure.”
Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the Defender. The Brazilian could be reunited with David Luiz at Chelsea as Antonio Conte has been searching a defender for long now.
“There are many clubs interested in signing Thiago Silva.” He further added.
