Burnley will be having a huge game this weekend when they visit the Old Trafford to play Manchester United. After their inspiring 2-1 win over Everton, which was quite unexpected to many, Burnley will hope to pull off another upset this time.
Getting promoted to the Premier League this season after topping the Championship table, Burnley didn’t have the best of starts. Their away games record has been one to forget with 0 wins in 3 games.
Though United comes to the game at the back of a convincing 1-0 win over their rivals City in the League Cup, Burnley could analyse the mistakes United did against Chelsea last weekend and hit the weak spots.
With Manchester United having to play an extra game in the midweek, the players are sure to have fatigue and Mourinho also have to deal with the little knock Marcus Rashford received in that game.
Defence
Tom Heaton will take his place in goal and can only hope to have a quiet match. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Anthony Martial. Lingard, Mata and Pogba as opponents, his team might be asking something extraordinary from the English keeper.
Sean Dyche is expected to stick to his winning squad against Everton. Burnley are one of the few sides in the league with little to no injuries to it’s squad.
We expect him to keep the back four of Stephen Mee, Ben Mee, Michael Keane and Matthew Lowtown.
With players like James Tarkowski, Kevin Long and Jon Flanagan at the bench, Burnley have a solid defensive gun power in their defensive arsenal.
