Midfield
Arsenal had Santi Cazorla uncertain for the weekend’s clash with Sunderland but Wenger has revealed there is not much of a worry with their most effective midfielder. With the derby next weekend, Wenger might consider him sitting on the bench against Ludogorets.
Alex Iwobi has been consistent although he is yet to find the back of the net. However, Arsenal have found a composed player in the Nigerian. He is expected to start.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has now done more than enough to prove his worth in the starting lineup and will give Wenger a battle of wits in the wing position.
Walcott was unwell and is expected to start in the midweek with Mesut Ozil in the middle.
Attack
Wenger hinted at Giroud’s new position linking up with Alexis Sanchez when he stated both of them playing together up front at the post-match press conference.
With the Frenchman scoring 2 of the first 2 touches, he looks hot favourite to start the match alongside Sanchez.
