When’s It On?
You can kiss your siesta goodbye, with a 2:15, afternoon kick-off, on the 2nd of October. You could try sleeping early, but, I don’t imagine either of Tottenham or a Man City fan to really be that nerveless. This win could change the momentum for either side. A win for Tottenham give them an enormous confidence boost, while a loss for Man City could in some way dampen the momentum.
Should I Bring My Brolly?
You could have a dab of some sunscreen instead, if you’re the type that gets redder than Paul Gascoigne and Stuart Pearce on St. Patrick’s Day. It’ll be a proper footballing day, with a sunny breeze and bright spells of golden bathing White hart Lane. You could bring along a pic-ki-nik baskit, but you may have to keep your eyes peeled for Yogi Bear, who, unabashedly, is smarter than the average bear.

There was a whole roster who were rested vs CSKA Moskva, where Tottenham registered a rather comfortable win, despite benching 5 first teamers. The fleet-footed Kyle Walker, Fantasy Premier League favourite full-back is in line to return vs Manchester City. Harry Kane would be missed, but the Spurs can take heart from the fact that Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele and Danny Rose could feature depending on late fitness tests.
It’s still uncertain if Moussa Sissoko will play owning to his concussion. And rightly so, you can’t afford to take chances with those sort of injuries.
Manchester City
Poor Yaya Toure, his agent was at it again. This time a dig at Pep. Consequently, he remains suspended by the club, while Nolito is serving the last match of his 3-match ban. De Bruyne and Vincent Kompany will be the noticeable absentees.
What To Expect
Football played at 100mph.
Plenty of chances for both sides, and hopefully, plenty of goals. With Claudio Bravo between the sticks, it’s as good as a bet as any.
