Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Benfica starlet Goncalo Guedes. The 19 year old has been heavily linked as Jose Mourinho is very impressed with the young Portuguese.
The youngster has been compared with Cristiano Ronaldo. The youngster came through the ranks of Benfica and nowis an important part of the first team. He netted three goals and laid six assists in his 18 appearances in the Portuguese top-flight last season. The promising winger has a release clause of £52m.
United are also believed to be in the pursuit of left-back Alejandro Grimaldo. The attacking side back has already bagged two goals and has been involved in four more goals this season. Mourinho wants to add a back up to Luke Shaw who is very injury prone.
Chelsea and Arsenal have expressed their interest in the 19 year old winger but United emerged as the frontrunner to land the youngster who has signed a new four year contract.
