Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim has blasted defender Djibril Sidibe because of the reason the defender has recently expressed his interest to play in the Premier League.
The defender was a target for Arsene Wenger and he even made a bid for the 24 year old. Sidibe claimed that he rejected the move as he was not sure if he would be able to get a regular chance or not. He went on to add that he would like to have a go at the Premier League at the end of the season. The Frenchman moved to Monaco from Lille on a five year deal this season.
The player who has been capped three times by France has been slammed by his current coach. “I do not think that he said that exactly…”
“What is bad is the attempt by a player to suggest that he is only here for one year. That, that is up to the club, not the player.”
