Manchester United is reportedly plotting a move for Valencia midfielder Fran Villalba. The 18-year old is a Valencia academy product.
The teenage midfielder has so far failed to break into the first team and has only appeared in 28 matches. The midfielder has a release clause of £3.6million and that shouldn’t be a problem for United. Should he choose to join the England Giants, he will be placed in the United Academy.
Barcelona’s sporting director Robert Fernandez has confirmed that they have an interest in the player as well and have been scouting the player for a few days. The midfielder is regarded as one of the most promising players in Europe and has been linked with Liverpool earlier.
The Spaniard has a contract till 2021 and has two caps for Spain U-16. The midfielder who also lost his place in the Valencia B team could be interested in a move to another club for more game time.
