Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is considering extending his contract. Guardiola joined City from Bayern Munich on a three-year contract and the Spaniard has a brilliant start to his City Career winning 10 matches out of 11. They drew their last match 3-3 with Celtic. Guardiola had won three consecutive Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich before joining the English side.
Barcelona appointed the 45-year-old as their manager in the 2008-09 season. He went on to win Three La Liga and Two Champions League with the Catalans.
Guardiola said, “I am so happy here so I’m not just thinking about ‘will it just be three years?’ “When I decided to say goodbye to Barcelona and Bayern Munich I decided in the last year. I said ‘okay it’s enough’. “If I see the perspective to improve the team is not possible or I’m not happy any more – when that happens I don’t want to be a problem with the club.
City will be facing Tottenham Hotspur in their next match and the gaffer will hope that his team can continue their good league run.
