Arsenal suffered major hiccups to their Premier League campaign as their star defender Hector Bellerin got injured while playing for Spain U-21.
Bellerin was reportedly badly tackled by a San Marino player at the dying moments of the game and had to be substituted. The 21 year old will undergo scans to his right ankle and only then the severity of the injury will be known. Spain defeated San Marino 3-0 in the Euro 2017 qualifier.
Arsene Wenger has already had Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista injured although it is reported that the injury might not be so serious. The versatile right back has been in superb form for the past two seasons and has been linked with Manchester City and Barcelona. The Spaniard is a La Masia product and The Catalans are also very keen to lure his service. Arsenal are set to renew his contract and are ready to double his current wage.
