Steven Gerrard might bid goodbye to LA Galaxy. A recent post of him on Instagram has sparked rumours about a return to Liverpool.
The 36 year old left his boyhood club Liverpool for The US on an 18-month contract. The midfielder who has spent almost his entire career at The Merseyside club, has played 690 games for the team.
The Ex-England international posted a picture of himself on Instagram with a caption, “Living in Los Angeles and playing for the great Galaxy supporters has been a privilege. You have made this place feel like home to me. This city and this club will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you #8.”
Galaxy are set to take on FC Dallas on Sunday and this could be the end of Gerrard’s US career. Gerrard, who scored five goals for the Major League Soccer side, was heavily linked with a coaching role at Liverpool earlier but also made it clear that he hadn’t been offered yet.
