Alexis Sanchez has been named Arsenal’s Player of the month for September. Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott were the other two nominees.
The Chilean has been in fine form since the start of the season. He started the season as a proper forward and has already scored five goals in all competition.
Sanchez got 39.4% of the total votes while Walcott came second with 23.2% votes and Iwobi received 18.4% votes.
The Former Barcelona player has been rewarded for his brilliant form as Arsene Wenger recently compared the him with Barcelona striker Luis Suarez. Sanchez has a contract till 2018 and it is believed that the club is keen to pen to paper soon.
Iwobi and Walcott too are a key part of Arsenal’s stellar start to the season. Walcott started this season on the right wing and has found the target five times. Iwobi has been a revelation this term and Arsenal are very keen to offer him a new contract as well.
