Antonio Conte has revealed that it was Paul Pogba’s dream to play for Manchester United. United snapped the midfielder from Juventus for a world record £89m.
Conte signed the 23 year old midfielder from United in 2012 on a free transfer. Under his guidance, Pogba has developed into one of the best midfielders. The 23 year ,old who scored a brace against Fenerbahce on Thursday, was also wanted by Chelsea but he eventually landed at The Old Trafford.
Conte Said, “I think to come back to Manchester United was his dream. I wish him the best, but only after the game. He deserves all,”
Conte sets for a reunion with the midfield general, who once used to play under him, when Manchester United would visit Chelsea on Sunday.
Conte also added that United consists of a host of big players and they have to be very careful, “We must pay attention to the whole team. United have a lot of great players.”
