Michy Batshuayi who was signed by Chelsea for £33.2m from Marseille is already being linked with a loan move back to his old side.
The Belgian attacker has been struggling to get first team chances and hasn’t started a game for the Blues in the Premier League. The 23-year-old had scored 33 goals for Marseille before joining the Blues.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has so far preferred Diego Costa up front who is also the Premier League’s top scorer with six goals. It is being sensationally reported that Batshuayi was not Conte’s choice.
Monaco have recently been bought by a wealthy businessman and they could offer the Belgian a way out. The attacker was signed as a backup to Diego Costa but with the Spaniard in sublime form, it would be very difficult for the youngster to break into the first eleven.
Batshuayi’s only start came in Chelsea’s 3-2 win over Bristol City in the EFL Cup. He scored a brace in that match.
