Out of favour Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas could be on his way to Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is reportedly considering a move for the midfielder and the club are ready to offer £20 million for the services of the midfielder.
Fabregas joined Chelsea from Barcelona in 2014 and played an influential role in their title triumph that season. The midfielder was involved in 24 goals but failed recreated the same magic in the next season as the Blues finished in a dismal 10th position.
The midfielder has failed to impress Antonio Conte and has started only one Premier League match who has preferred N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic in the midfield.
City will offer higher wages than £160,000-per-week what he is currently earning and also could offer a move to New York City FC in MLS. City are currently on a five-match winless streak and Guardiola wants more creativity from his midfield. He did try Kevin De Bruyne as a false nine against Barcelona but the idea backfired as the Catalans pumped in four goals past them.
Turkish side Fenerbahce are also monitoring Fabregas’ situation and will provide competition to City.
