Antonio Conte is reportedly willing to offer Eden Hazard to Juventus in a move to sign defender Leonardo Bonucci.
It is reported that Juventus are interested in midfielder Cesc Fabregas for a swap deal but Conte is ready to offload the Belgian winger. Chelsea are planning a squad revamp and are set to bid a record £ 60m although they had signed David Luiz and Marcos Alonso in the last transfer window.
Conte is a firm believer in a 3-5-2 formation and wants to use it at Chelsea. If he does choose to play with a three-man defence, Hazard’s role will be in much doubt as the Italian loves to play with wingbacks and the Belgian doesn’t fit in that role.
Chelsea won the Premier League in the 2014-15 season and he had been adjudged the player of the year but since then his form has gone downwards as Chelsea finished a dismal 10th and are now 7th in the league.
Conte apparently wants to reduce the transfer fee with the swap deal as Juventus have already announced that they wanted a huge sum for their star defender.
