Juventus are set to offer Leonardo Bonucci a brand new bumper contract. Bonucci has garnered a lot of interest from Chelsea as Antonio Conte is very keen to sign the defender and solve their persistent defensive problems.
Bonucci will be getting a huge pay rise and his annual salary will be around £5m and if bonuses are included, it rounds up to around £8m.Pep Guardiola offered him the same amount of salary but the defender preferred to stay at the Turin.
Conte is a huge fan of the player as he worked with him during his stint with Juventus and the Italy national team. Conte is so adamant that he even offered Eden Hazard in a swap deal to bring the player.
The new deal is due to expire in 2021. His agent and the Club are negotiating a deal and should Bonucci sign the new deal it will be a huge blow to Conte’s plans.
