Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has said that Arsenal shouldn’t sell Hector Bellerin. The 21-year-old right back has progressed significantly under Arsene Wenger’s guidance and has become one of the most sought after full backs.
The Spaniard has established himself as the first-choice right back at The Emirates and has been a mainstay in the team. His performance for The Gunners saw him linking with a number of Clubs including Barcelona and Manchester City.
Cazorla said Arsenal would make a mistake if they let him go, “For Arsenal it would be a mistake to let him go. It is obvious that many teams want him.
“There has been talk about Manchester City and Barcelona. He is a player with great potential and I am sure he will also be a key part of the future of the Spanish national team.”
Cazorla’s own future is in doubt as his contract will expire at the end of this season and there has been no offer till now. The Spanish midfielder went on to add, “We’ll see [what happens with Hector]. You could see in the victory over Swansea how good he is. He was all over the place and never stopped running.”
