Arsenal could offer an escape route to Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure. Toure hasn’t been involved in a single Premier League match so far this season.
Pep Guardiola announced last month that the Ivory Coast midfielder wouldn’t feature until his agent apologized. The midfielder’s agent Dimitri Seluk used foul words towards the manager as he accused himself of not giving Yaya enough game time.
Santi Cazorla hasn’t been offered a new contract yet and is free to sign a pre-contract with any other club. A new offer from Juventus is in the offing and the veteran Spaniard might leave the North London club at the end of the season.
Arsene Wenger would love to have the midfielder who could fill the void. Toure loves to play deep and burst forward, kind of like the way Vieira used to. His accurate passing with his tendency of surging forward made him one of the most sought after midfielders in the world.
Arsenal are reportedly monitoring his situation and will act accordingly.
