Alvaro Negredo
The striker hasn’t been able to perform since his first two games where he contributed with a goal on his debut followed up with two assists in the next game but is still a big threat for the opposition defense. Negredo has got a very good pedigree and his aerial prowess is also very well known.
Arsenal have suffered against powerful strikers with good heading ability in the past and they must be careful to not allow the 31-year-old former Manchester City striker space as he can finish his chances having scored over 20 goals for the Citizens in 2013/14 season.
Stewart Downing
The 32-year-old Englishman has so far played well for his club with two assists already to his name. Downing’s deliveries from the left-hand channel are particularly dangerous and needs to be contained.
The former Liverpool man is also a great threat during the set pieces and has an eye for a pass. He is one player who will be very important for his team’s strategy on Saturday and thus needs to be nullified completely to render the visitors ineffective.
