Long-time Arsenal target Julian Draxler could be on his way out from Wolfsburg, his agent Fabio Parisi revealed. The German playmaker has been a long-time target for Arsene Wenger. Wenger even made a bid of £43m but the German club refused to sell one of their prized assets. He was signed from Schalke in 2015 for £30m and was also a prime target for Juventus.
The Turin-based club sold Paul Pogba to Manchester United and had the money to sign the German midfielder. Paris-Saint Germain were also among the host of clubs who showed interest in the youngster with a bid of £59m.
His agent confirmed that his client will leave the club at the end of this season, “Max Allegri had spoken to Draxler, they were in sync and there was an immediate rapport between them”
“Wolfsburg have strong owners, but unfortunately for the German fans, everyone wants to leave there. ”He will definitely leave Wolfsburg at the end of the season. He would’ve gladly run to join Juve and is the ideal trequartista for Allegri.
“I repeat: Draxler will leave, but whether or not Juventus are interested again is another matter,” He added.
