Gareth Bale, who is currently in the form 0f his life, is all set for a massive wage increase. Bale is currently negotiating a contract extension with Real Madrid and according to reports, the Los Blancos are willing to include a release clause of €500m to keep him at the club and shut out Manchester United’s interest.
Bale had arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu for a world record sum of €100m from English side Tottenham Hotspur. Bale recently guided Wales to the Euro 2016 Semifinal. He has also won his second Champions League title with the Madrid side.
Bale has currently 3 years left on his contract which is worth £300,000 a week. He is the ideal one to succeed Ronaldo who is now 31. Manchester United have been chasing the winger for quite a while and it seems that their interest in Bale compels Madrid to give the Welshman a new contract.
With the new contract, Bale’s earning will raise to £20m a year from £9m which will make him one of the highest paid footballers with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
