Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has left everyone guessing about who is going to be at the goal against Hull City. Loris Karius kept a clean sheet on his Liverpool debut against Derby County. Liverpool won the match 3-0.
Karius was signed from FSV Mainz as a backup to Liverpool custodian Simon Mignolet. Klopp said, “What was the question?! This is not the place to announce line-ups,” We have to think about it in a positive way. My father was a goalkeeper. It’s a little different if you change a midfield player. If I make a decision for the next game, it’s not that this is how it is for the next five year.”
Liverpool on being asked if Liverpool had a problem while facing smaller clubs Klopp answered,” “So many people think we have a problem against bus parking. I cannot remember a lot of space against Chelsea or Tottenham. We have to find solutions,” he said.
“I think we all can improve – the team, coaches, manager and the crowd. If you create chances against Chelsea, it’s positive. If you miss, it’s still positive. If you miss a chance against Burnley, it’s negative. That’s what we have to learn.
“No football game is easy. Can we create a special atmosphere at 3pm at Anfield on Saturday? I would say yes. Two things are important: The crowd and the team. I would like to see everybody with the right attitude, and not be disappointed if we miss a chance after 10 minutes”
