According to reports, Manchester United and Everton are interested in Juventus youngster Grigoris Kastanos. Kastanos’ agent Yanni Evangelopoulos has said that he was unaware of this kind of development. “I know nothing about interest from Manchester United and Everton apart from what I have seen in the media,” He said.
The teenager joined the Serie A champions from Neon Paralimni in 2014.
“Grigoris, although young, is on a professional contract at Juventus and he was with the first team this summer on preseason.
“It is nice to hear of reported interest from other clubs, but Juventus are also a big club — in the top 10 in Europe in my opinion. Grigoris is focused on developing at Juventus and trying to do his best for them.”
Kastonas is a very promising player. He has already won two caps for Cyprus and also featured in their World Cup Qualifiers against Belgium. His signing, if the club does end up snapping him up, won’t bring the results immediately but he could be one for the future. Of late, the club has given chances to the likes of Lingard and Rashford and there is no reason why others won’t be given opportunities for the first team.
