Manchester United flop Memphis Depay could be on his way to the Serie A. AC Milan are reportedly interested in the Dutch winger and could take him on loan in January with an option to make it permanent once the season ends.
United shelled out a whopping £25m to sign the youngster from PSV but the winger has so far failed to justify his hefty price tag. In the last season, he made 46 appearances for the club and has found the target seven times.
Mourinho has so far preferred Jese Lingard and young sensation Marcus Rashford over the Dutch prodigy.
He started two games this season, one against Feyenoord in the Europa Cup and the other was against Northampton Town in the EFL Cup.
There has been rumours that Depay could be sold in the summer transfer window but Mourinho decided to keep him.
With Anthony Martial unable to show his last year’s form, Depay, who scored 25 goals in the last season for PSV, could yet find a position in the starting lineup.
