Juventus are reportedly interested in Alexis Sanchez and are ready to offer out of favour striker Mario Mandzukic to land the Chilean to Turin. Sanchez is currently negotiating a contract extension with The Gunners but has demanded a hefty increase in his wage. Sanchez currently earns £130,000 a week. According to reports , Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta is considering a bid for the Chilean.
Juventus have recently signed Argentine international Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus for £75.3m. The Argentina international has signed a five-year contract with the Serie A champions.
Arsene Wenger is known to be a long time admirer of the Croatian striker, since his Bayern Munich days. Mandzukic has made 36 appearances for Juve last season and has scored 13 goals. The 30-year-old has won a Serie A and a Coppa Italia title with the Turin giants. With Sanchez is yet to sign a contract extension, Juventus are hopeful to secure the services of the Chilean as they can tempt him with a better chance of winning silverware.
